Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage (Champissage) includes massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears and energy balancing. This method is the brainchild of Narendra Mehta who brought the therapy to the west in the 1970’s. It is based on the traditional form of Champi (head massage) practised in India for over 1,000 years. I was taught the techniques by Narendra himself in 1995.
It can provide relief from aches and pains, stress symptoms, insomnia, promote hair growth, soothe, comfort and rebalance your energy flow which gives you a deep sense of peace, calm and tranquillity. It is a wonderfully relaxing therapy. The massage is very effective and can be done without oils with the client sitting and fully clothed.

Aromatherapy massage
Massage is one of the best ways to enjoy aromatherapy because you not only receive the healing properties of the oils, but you also get the wonderful benefits of the massage itself. Their therapeutic action when brought together with the revitalising effects of massage stimulate all of the organs in the body, plus the skin, muscles, nerves and glands. The increased circulation of the blood and lymph flow also assists with the clearing away of toxins from the body.

Hot Stone Massage
This treatment combines the benefits of Thermotherapy (the use of heat applications) with massage strokes, using stones to create a deep, relaxing and healing treatment. Heated basaltic rocks are used by placement and by the therapist to perform the massage. The heat of the stones penetrates deep into the muscle tissue allowing the muscles to relax 4-5 times quicker than in a standard body massage, easing muscle tension and revitalising the muscle tissue by increased blood circulation.
Cold stones promote circulation and act as a powerful decongestant for the body. By promoting circulation, a cold stone treatment can ease inflamed tissues, decrease muscle spasms, and can reduce swelling or fluid build-up.
Switching between cold and hot applications causes blood vessels to alternately dilate and constrict, leading to increased movement of fluids within the body, increased removal of toxins and increased healing.
