Congratulations to all our patients that have been having treatment in the last few weeks in the build up to the London Marathon. From Sports Massage, Podiatry, pedicures, reflexology, nutrition and Osteopathy. Here at Bodyworks were were able to provide the people of Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards cross and the surrounding areas of South Bucks with the most optimal care that is required to be fully/or fighting fit for the great challenges that marathon training and running the marathon can throw up.
There were a few last minute sessions to loosen up tight spots and Kinesio Tape vulnerable areas to great effect.
Now this week, it's all about post event aftercare, with gentle stretching massaging, ultrasound, kinesio-taping, Osteopathic adjustments and foot care. If your going to put the body through it- you must get the proper support and care throughout, otherwise the chances of developing problems and damaging joints and tendons are high.

Great evening meeting local people and businesses in Chalfont St Peter. We were able to introduce some of the new gift vouchers and pamper packages that we have been developing. Something that is unique to the clinic and is bringing a brand new service to Chalfont St Peter and Gerrards Cross- a true holistic environment.

Bodyworks Clinic had it's official launch on Friday 16th September. The local community, patients, businesses and of course the therapists had a great evening.
The free taster sessions seem to go down well with Massage therapists Liz Hogan and Karen Reed being very busy, and Spinal checks were performed by Osteopath Felicity Duke.
i-lipo therapist Frances Wontner was doing demonstrations and discussing the use of the i-lipo machine for fast results in fat cell reduction, and Personal Development Coach John Dyter did life balance checks and gave people an insight into how they could be better driven to their goals and have a better balance to their lives.
Podiatrist's Matthew Peirce and Christine Roberts provided foot checks and advice, and all the Psychotherapist's Psychologist's and our Clinical Hypnotherapist Al Mayfield were available for discussions.
There was great feedback from all who came about the size, feel and relaxed but professional environment.
There was a prize draw in the evening and Pam Bleakley was drawn as the Lucky winner, receiving a Free treatment of choice.
ShareBodyworks will be holding further open days and events in the future so watch this space or keep posted on facebook and twitter.

We had a fantastic day meeting the local people of Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross and surrounding areas.
As an Osteopath I was able to provide free advice and spinal checks and consultations. Many people were amazed at the depth of the free consultation, highlighting current disorders or imbalances and giving bio-mechanical reasons why they were experiencing low back pain, neck pain and limb pain. They seemed very appreciative with the advice sheet they were given. For more information on Osteopathy click on Bodyworks Osteopathy.
Matt Pierce one of our Podiatrist was on hand to provide free consultations and advice on caring for you feet, for more information on Podiatry services at Bodyworks, click here, and Liz Hogan our Massage therapist was giving fantastic Indian Head Massages. For more information on massage treatments click on Bodyworks Massage.
John Dyter our personal development coach did a great job to be there all day supporting the Clinic and the community. He is a great asset to the clinic and area, and for those people wanting some direction in their life or want to be more productive and feel more worthwhile then John is your man. For more information, see his details Personal Development coach.
Cheryl Rezek, a well known Clinical Psychologist and author also provided a sterling support of the clinic, and provided great insight to the public into the role of Psychology for the current times. More information can be found at Bodyworks Clinical Psychology.

A busy weekend saw Bodyworks Clinic providing post event Massage and Osteopathic treatment to the riders of the chiltern 100 based in Amersham and the surrounding chiltern hills. Well done to everyone who competed. After it I think I needed a massage!
